Cigar Sommelier.

This training covers all the core material to familiarize yourself with the service, tasting and pairing of cigars. Although this program was originally designed for hospitality professionals, cigar aficionados are also welcome. The skills developed in this program can either be used to provide exceptional service to the hospitality industry or to bring a new level of enjoyment to cigar aficionados. The training consists of an e-learning preparation, a two-day classroom session and post-training learning materials, totaling approximately 60 hours. After the training, participants must submit five tasting sheets and successfully complete an online assessment and an oral exam to receive the Cigar Sommelier certificate.

The IACS Certificate for Cigar Sommeliers is the most internationally recognized degree in cigar education. Members of the IACS faculty have participated as keynote speakers at the three largest cigar festivals in the world (Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Cuba).
