Tim Phillips is Managing Director of Tamarind Intelligence, a global independent market and regulatory intelligence provider serving businesses in rapidly evolving consumer sectors, including vape, cannabis, and tobacco alternatives. Tamarind Intelligence delivers market-leading insights and regulatory tracking to clients ranging from governments and academic institutions to multinational companies and professional service providers. A UK-qualified attorney, Tim has worked at the European Commission, Herbert Smith Freehills, BSkyB, AOL, and Betfair (now Flutter Entertainment), where he led global public affairs during its IPO. He was also a partner in a New York venture capital-backed start-up in the diamond sector. Tim holds a master’s degree in geology from Oxford University and a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Law, London, and has led Tamarind Intelligence for the past decade.
