Experience InterTabac 2026
From 15 to 17 September 2026, InterTabac will offer trade visitors from retail, wholesale and distribution a comprehensive overview of the current range of tobacco products and smoking accessories. Around 800 suppliers from 70 countries – 80 per cent of them from abroad – will be present, enabling informed comparisons to be made within a small space. Almost 90 percent of visitors return to the trade fair, clear proof of the added value of the event.
Product ranges, innovations and product developments can be evaluated in a direct market environment – supplemented by personal discussions on quality, delivery capabilities and regulatory requirements. This provides a reliable basis for decision-making that goes beyond catalogues or digital information.
The supporting programme provides additional guidance through technical classifications and practical content. Networking formats complement the programme and create space for exchange in a professional environment.

Parking spaces A3, A4, A8, as well as C1/D1, D2 and E1 are available. The maximum parking fee is EUR 15.50 per car.
By public transport:
From the subway station “Westfalenhallen” (line U45) you can reach the exhibition grounds in just 10 minutes from Dortmund main station. Alternatively, the U46 will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in around 5 minutes. The stops are barrier-free and well signposted.

Visa form
In accordance with the decree issued by the Federal Foreign Office on 24.07.2013, a letter of invitation from the trade fair company is generally not required. If you still require such a letter, you can create it yourself by filling out the form with your personal details. After submitting the form, you will receive your invitation letter by e-mail.
Due to the high volume of applications for trade fair and business visas, we recommend that all visitors and exhibitors apply for their visas early. Schengen visas can be applied for up to six months before the start of the trip. Please note that, depending on the season, waiting times for visa appointments can range from around four weeks to two months. In addition to the regular application process via VFS Global, additional options are available for trade fair business, such as Eagle Track, short-term special appointments for business travelers, and special appointments for trade fair exhibitors. Early planning helps to ensure that all applications are processed on time. The visa information is based on current information from the relevant German diplomatic missions and AUMA’s partner institutions.
WLAN
Messe Dortmund offers free WLAN via the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund. Connect to the “Hotspot Westfalenhallen” network, accept the terms and conditions and you can start using the WLAN.
Accessibility
The exhibition grounds are completely barrier-free. Halls 4 to 8 are connected at ground level, and the upper halls and the congress area are accessible via elevators. Disabled toilets with Eurokey locking systems are available in all halls. Wheelchairs can be borrowed for a deposit at the North Entrance (limited availability).
