More than 160 exhibitors already confirmed – popular pairings will take place again
When the international tobacco industry gathers again at the leading trade show InterTabac in Dortmund from September 18 to 20, the lineup of top-exhibitors as well as the high-quality conference programme will reflect the undiminished fascination for one of the core segments of the show. Cigars will once again be a major focus at the 45th edition of InterTabac. More than 160 exhibitors from the cigar and accessories sector alone have already registered, and the supporting programme will feature a variety of exciting, related events.
Dortmund, 29 July 2025 – The international cigar industry will be showcasing its entire range, enabling retailers to discover new trends, enjoy tried-and-tested classics and benefit from the expertise of the exhibitors. Among the companies presenting their products in Dortmund is VCF J. Cortes, a premium brand from the Belgian Vandermaliere group. J.C. Newman Cigar Co., one of the oldest family-owned cigar manufacturers in the country, will be travelling to Dortmund from the USA. Also coming from the USA are Fuente Cigars and Notorious Cigars LLC. French manufacturer Maya Selva Cigars was awarded the Cigar Trophy Award at last year’s InterTabac and is now returning. Spanish manufacturers Gesinta International Tobacco and Humo Selecto S.A. will be showcasing as well as House of Grauer SA from Switzerland.
Meanwhile, German cigar craftsmanship is represented by traditional companies such as Joh. Wilh. von Eicken GmbH, Kleinlagel oHG, Kopp Tobaccos GmbH & Co. KG and Villiger Söhne GmbH. Among those exhibiting at InterTabac for the first time are Selected Tobacco S.A., ArtHabanos, Capital Group America Corporation, XO Havana and Guri Cigars.
To round off the offering in the classic cigar segment, the conference programme of the trade show has several interesting events in store for trade visitors. For example, Scott Pearce, President and CEO of the Cigar Association of America (CAA), and Joshua Habursky, Executive Director of the Premium Cigar Association, have been confirmed as speakers. Their presentations will focus primarily on the important topic of regulations.
In Newsroom 1, the focus will traditionally also be on cigars. This is where the popular Cigar Pairings and the Cigar Blending Experience will take place. This year, the pairings will be led by Jens Tausch. He is an expert in the field of pairing spirits and cigars and also writes for Cigar Journal. Pairings will take place on all three days of the show at 13:00 hrs. On Thursday and Friday, Master Blender Claudio Sgroi will also offer a special event with The Blending Experience. Registration is required in advance for these events. All details can be found on the website.
