In two workshops on 15 and 16 September 2026, specialist retailers will gain an in-depth insight into the art of cigar blending – guided by master blender Claudio Sgroi.

With over 20 years of experience in the international tobacco industry, Sgroi will guide participants step by step through the world of flavours, tobacco varieties and techniques – in a practical, personalised manner and at the highest level. Together, they will evaluate tobacco qualities, analyse flavours and create blends. Participants will learn how flavour is created and which factors determine balance and character.

This exclusive retailer format provides concrete guidance for purchasing and adds a valuable technical dimension to the portfolio. Understanding the logic behind blends enables participants to select products more specifically, advise customers more knowledgeably and better classify new brands.
